Apex 2.6 is now available

The Apex software provides several key enhancements with the release of version 2.6:

  • Background Maps – Apex 2.6 will be able to save multiple types of background images to the GS2 Display.
  • Machine and Implement Offsets – Machine and Implement offsets can be edited and saved to the card.
  • View Map Report – A preference has been added to allow users to choose a single page map layer report or an improved two page report that includes a full page map on the second page.
  • Harvest - Post Calibration – Apex 2.6 now provides the option to calibrate each calibration factor written to the harvest file.
  • Variety Setup – Users will have the ability to set up to 6 unique varieties and assign them to individual rows or sections of the planter.
  • GRC Liquid Manure – Apex 2.6 now allows Apex users to accurately display liquid manure application data as maps and reports.
  • GSDNet Enhancement (John Deere crop insurance functionality) – Apex 2.6 enhanced GSDNet with upgrades to this secured internet gateway

Resolved Issues

  • Apex 2.6 has decreased the time it takes to display maps.
  • Apex now correctly calculates the avg Rx rate and total needed
  • Apex 2.6 can now import shapefiles that use a comma to separate values.
  • Apex now limits the maximum file size when creating variety locator files; this will help to prevent errors when the file is selected in the display.
  • Apex 2.6 will no longer show multiple lines of weather information with 0 values.
