Enhancements
- Multi-Language Record Keeping plug-in - Apex™ Record Keeping activation allows users to link pricing information with documented data. This activation will provide 3 new maps, 6 new reports, manual documentation capabilities, and crop share input. Customers will have the ability to evaluate this activation by using the 30 day demo. This plug-in is available in French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguease, and English.
- Record Keeping Enhancement: Shared Template - Users now have the ability to export or import templates from other users of Record Keeping. This will reduce the amount of time a user has to spend defining the input costs for a given operation.
- Preferred Units - Apex will no longer automatically adjust your units of measurement to the default setting if you define a preferred unit in the Apex Setup page. This enhancement will allow users to better display information in a way that makes the most sense to them.
- Compatibility with John Deere Mobile Weather - Apex 3.3 will be compatible with John Deere Mobile Weather so that users have the ability to bring their newly gathered weather data onto Apex for further analysis. Apex will provide map layers for Temperature, Wind Speed & Delta T. Humidity and Wind Direction will still be visible in Apex, but not as an individual map layer. Having this weather information will allow users to keep more accurate records than ever, and also better understand the effects weather has on your operation.
- Assign Varieties Unique Colors - Any Apex user that is interested in controlling the color of their varieties across all of their variety maps now has that ability. Users now have an option to easily tie a color to a specific variety making the analysis of variety placement easier than ever before. No longer will you have to evaluate every variety layer to understand which color represents which variety.
- USB and Data Card Duplication - This functionality will allow users to save a copy of their data card prior to cleaning the card. Duplication can be done in two places. On the unload screen you will see a duplicate card button, when clicked it will bring up a popup box asking where you would like to store the data. The second way to duplicate a card is when cleaning off the card. After selecting files and hitting the clean button a popup box will ask if you would like to make a copy of the card prior to cleaning if you choose yes you will need to select a card location if you select no it will clean the card as you had selected.
