IMPORTANT:

1. Important recommendation for software update on GS2 Display operating with John Deere Greenstar Sprayers.

When using Horst sprayers in GSD4 emulation mode, it is highly recommended to make sure the GS2 display runs with Software Update 2009-1 (2.3.1385), before updating with Software Update 2.4.1156. Please disconnect the GreenStar Sprayer before proceeding with Software Update. If display is not running already with 2009-1, you will find the software at stellarsupport.com in the Software Update Archive.

Consequence w/o SU2009-1: Installation of SU2009-2 or later version on GS2, w/o pre installation of SU 2009-1, can cause a downtime of several days to the regarding sprayers, since the rate controller has to be reprogrammed and the sprayer must be fully recalibrated.

2. N-Sensing activation procedure

For a N-Sensing activation please contact your local John Deere dealer.

Information for dealer

Utilize the flash card that came with your display and please follow the steps below.

1. Save a copy of the files from your flash card to your PC, and make sure all files are downloaded to your desktop software.
2. Run the GS2 Live Update to copy the update to the flash card.
3. Insert the DataCard into the display and follow the instructions on the screen.
